Braeden "PorpoisePops" Schwark was previously the jungler for Immortals.
Biography
Growing up with an identical twin made life naturally competitive for both Braeden “PorpoisePops” Schwark and his brother Linden “Cheesedbeluga” Schwark. Dreaming of the world stage, Braeden began to play games competitively. World of Warcraft at the height of its popularity drew Braeden in, and he was drawn to the arena. After achieving 2800 rating in the 3v3 bracket he began to play with professional players at the time including Nadagast, Reckful, Cdew, and Kollectiv.
After WOW Arena lost its appeal, Braeden looked for another game to play. He tried Bloodline Champions, but when its popularity failed to increase enough, he switched over to League of Legends with the goal of reaching LCS. In September 2014, Braeden achieved that goal, qualifying for the 2015 Spring LCS with his team Team 8.
2015 Season
In the spring split of the 2015 LCS, Team 8 initially slipped into ninth place after the fifth week. After a more successful end to the season, however, they climbed into a tie for the final playoff spot, but lost the tiebreaker to Team Liquid and settled into seventh with a 9-9 record. In the summer season, Team 8 once again finished the regular season tied for seventh; however, this time, they lost to Cloud9 and were sent to the 2016 Spring Promotion Tournament. They chose Team Imagine as their Challenger opponent and beat them 3-1 to stay in the LCS for the spring season.
2016 Preseason
In October 2015, Immortals was announced as the new brand of Team 8.[1] Porpoise initially stayed with the team but then left when his contract expired in November.
