Current Roster

Longzhu Gaming is a professional gaming team based in South Korea.

Longzhu Gaming was formed in January 2016 when Incredible Miracle rebranded and took the name of their previous title sponsor, LongZhu.[1]

2016 Season

Longzhu Gaming came to 2016 LCK Spring Season with a 10 man roster, signing many significant free agents during the offseason, such as LGD Gaming's Flame, Jin Air Green Wings's Chaser, CJ Entus's CoCo, and Samsung Galaxy's Fury. However, they ended up with a 8-10 score during the split, losing out on a spot in the playoffs. The summer season wasn't any better. Having signed Emperor from G2 Esports, the team haven't preformed up to their capabilities. Only after they began using Fury as their ADC again did Longzhu's chances increases, ending the season 7-11 in sets. This gave them eighth place in the season, allowing them to avoid being relegated.

During the off season, Longzhu opted for a roster revamp by releasing all players and their coaches except for Expession and Crash. In place of those they let go the organization acquired Pray, Gorilla, Bdd, and Fly to the roster in preparation for the 2017 LCK Spring Split.

2017 Season

During the 2017 Spring Split, the team's performed at the middle of the pack. Other than taking some games off of other top tier teams like SK Telecom T1 and Samsung Galaxy, the team was unable to advance to the playoffs with a 8-10 record, finishing 7th in the spring split.

Going into the summer split though, the team's synergy steadily improved overtime with Khan and Cuzz joining the starting line up. Off the back of stellar individual performance from players like Khan and Bdd, veteran leadership from Gorilla and Pray, and also SK Telecom T1's uncharacteristic 8 game losing streak, Longzhu Gaming finds itself in first place at the end of the summer regular season to automatically qualify for finals.

In the 2017 LCK Summer Playoffs, Longzhu Gaming was largely dismissed by analysts to win the finals. However, by exploiting holes in SKT's draft strategies and relying on Khan's stellar individual performance in teamfights, Longzhu Gaming became the first team ever in LCK history to beat SK Telecom T1 in any finals. This automatically qualifies Longzhu Gaming to attend 2017 Worlds as the first seed representative from Korea.
