As part of the changes to the 2015 GPL, the region consisting of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao left the GPL and began to compete instead in the League of Legends Master Series, or "LMS." The top teams from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao will complete the league and fight for the spot of World Championship.

Format

Regular Season

2015 Spring

• Offline Tournament
• Each match is best of one.
• Each team plays all of the other teams three times
• Top 4 teams receives a spot for the Playoffs.
• Bottom 4 teams drop to the promotion of next season.

2015 Summer to Now

• 8 weeks, League play.
• Each team plays all of the other teams twice, for a total of 56 matches.
• Each match is best of two.
  • 2:0 Winning team receive 3 points.
  • 1:1 Both teams receive 1 point.
• Rankings are determined by the following methods
  • Total point
  • Point difference between the tied teams
  • Time rule
• Top 4 teams advance to the playoffs.
• Bottom 2 teams drop to the promotion of next season.

• Single elimination tournament with seeding based on regular season ranks
• All matches in the bracket are Best of Five
