Samuel "Kenste" Richards was previously the mid laner for Avant Garde.

Born in Australia, Kenste lives in Wellington, New Zealand. He began playing video games at a very young age, starting at the age of 8 playing on the PlayStation before moving on to Runescape, other games and eventually, League of Legends.

After playing at an extremely high level on both NA and OCE servers, Kenste was picked up by Team Dignitas OCE. With the team, he placed 3rd at the 2014 Oceanic Regional - Autumn. Kenste then moved on to play for Ex Dreamers for a few months before joining Avant Garde in August 2014, as part of their new roster along with Yozora, Porky, Veritas, NADA, and WarbleGubul. With the team, Kenste managed to finish 2nd in the Logitech CGPL Season 2 Winter, along with a 1st place finish at the 2014 Oceanic Regional Finals. This lead to the team's participation at IEM Season IX - Taipei, though they were beaten by Taipei Assassins in the quarterfinals.
