Team MRN was a competitive League of Legends team founded by and named for professional fighting game player Marn in June 2012. After a fluctuant history of disbandments and reformations, the current roster solidified on December 30th, 2012, and qualified for the North American Season 3 Championship Series two weeks after.

History

Team MRN first appeared competitively in the 2012 MLG Spring Championship as a late replacement. Following a complete roster change, MRN qualified for the North American LCS Qualifiers, where they beat Dirt Nap Gaming 2-0 to qualify for the NA Season 3 Spring Split. MRN placed 7th during the Spring Split with a record of 10-18. Because they placed in the bottom two, they were then forced to fight for their spot in the LCS during the Summer Promotion. On May 11th, 2013, they lost 2-3 to Velocity eSports and failed to qualify for the Summer Season of North American LCS. The team disbanded shortly after.
