"Smurf" (Real Name: Dmitri Ivanov) is a Russian League of Legends player, current Top Laner for M19.

Biography

Smurf was born in Kaliningrad.

Career History

Smurf is known as a very versatile player who easily adapts his champion pool and mechanics to fit the task. He used to play support for Dolphins of Wall Street before he got acquired by team Hard Random where he plays in the top lane.

2015

Smurf joined Hard Random in January 2015. He was part of the roster that won the Spring 2015 SLTV StarSeries and then qualified for the International Wild Card Invitational where they lost 1-3 to INTZ e-Sports in semifinals.

2016

In 2016 Smurf continued to play for Hard Random in LCL and his team finished 1st with an impressive 12-2 record proceeding to LCL Spring Playoffs. After sweeping semifinal series 3-0 against Vega Squadron Smurf and his team advanced to the finals where after a 3-1 victory over Team Empire he was able to claim LCL Spring Split champion title along with earning a spot at the International Wild Card Invitational. At IWCI Hard Random got out of the group and made it all the way to the finals where they lost 1-3 to Turkey's SuperMassive eSports falling just a little short of Qualifying for MSI.

On May 23, between Spring and Summer Splits in LCL Smurf along with an entire roster and stuff of Hard Random got aquired by Albus NoX Luna.

As a player for Albus NoX Luna Smurf played in LCL Summer Split finishing season in first place with 13-1 record. He and his team went on to claim another LCL Split championship title winning LCL Summer Playoffs after a 3-2 reverse sweep against Vega Squadron this time earning a spot at the International Wildcard Qualifiers Tournament.

At the International Wildcard Qualifiers Albus NoX Luna finished 4th in the Group Stage making its way to the Qualifier Stage where Smurf and his teammates had to face the first seed Lyon Gaming. In a 3-2 battle Albus NoX Luna came out victorious, clenching a spot for 2016 World Championship where players will represent CIS along with the second qualified team from Wild Card regions -- INTZ e-Sports from Brazil.
