Pixel Esports Club is a mexican esports organization founded in December 2017 and owned by the equity crowdfunding platform Play Business. Pixel competitively entered in the league of legend in 2018 participating in the second division of the Latin American North region (LAN) and in just in one semester managed to ascend to the maximum division. Pixel participated in the last edition of the Liga Latinoamérica Norte (LLN) and in 2019 will be part of the new league system from united Latin America (LLA).

History

With the creation of Pixel Esports Club League of Legends division, the organization acquired the Space Esports seed to participate in the Circuito de Leyendas Apertura 2018 with a roster made up of Kouke, Lukwer, Daniquest, CaritaTriste and Daduu. After finishing second in the regular phase (3-6-1 in games series), PIX Qualified for semifinals and defeats PEX Team by 3:1 in the best of five, qualifying to the final of the tournament, where the team would fall by 0:3 against the Peruvian team of Elite Wolves. However, this position qualifies them for the Promotion & Relegation tournament, where after defeating ZAGA Talent Gaming by 3:0 and Elite Wolves by 3:0, the team achieves his promotion to the highest category of Latin America North (LAN).

On June, Pixel Esports Club starts his participation in the last edition of the Liga Latinoamérica Norte, where with a pleasant level, PIX achieves victories over 6Sense, Dash9 Gaming, Predators Esports and ZAGA Talent Gaming (on double occasion). But this was not enough to make way for the knockout phase, being eliminated in seventh place whit a 5-9 record. In October 2018, LoL Esports LAN officially announced that Pixel Esports Club would continue to be part of the maximum category of Latin America, obtaining a place for the Liga Latinoaméricana 2019. Along with this, the whole Pixel Esports Club organization will have to move to Santiago (Chile) to compete next year.
