Misfits Gaming is a North American esports organization, who currently has a team competing in the European League Championship Series (EU LCS).

History

The team started their journey in the Challenger Series. They succeeded in qualifying for the Summer Split of the EU Challenger Series after ranking first in their group and beating Euronics Gaming in the finals (3-1). In the Summer Split, Misfits continue to dominate as they ended the split with a 4-1-0 ranking, only losing a game against Team Forge.

Come playoffs, Misfits defeated Epsilon eSports (3-0) in the Semifinals and Millenium (3-0) in the Finals, giving them the championship for the 2016 EUCS Summer and qualifying them for the 2017 EU LCS Spring Promotion. Although they lost to Origen (3-2), Misfits are still able to qualify for the 2017 EU LCS Spring after they have beaten Schalke 04 (3-1).

Just like any other teams, Misfits underwent roster changes as well, especially in preparation for the EU LCS Spring Split. They started their roster with Alphari, Wisdom, SELFIE, Yuuki60 and Dreams, but as they go on their journey, they picked up players who they think will fit more with the team. They picked Hans, former AD Carry for Millenium, to replace Yuuki60. They also picked Lamabear to join as starting Jungler, while Wisdom moved to Sub position before announcing his free agency.

In the off season, the team announced that PowerOfEvil will be joining Alphari, Hans and IgNar and will be replacing SELFIE in the Mid lane. They have also added KaKAO in the jungle to complete their roster.
