Furious Gaming is a argentinian professional esports organization formed in March 2011 by Gonzalo García, the league of legends division of the team is formed on December 2013 by picking up the Lemondogs Argentina roster. Furious entered the top category of Latin America South (LAS) in 2015 along with the formation of the professional league (CLS), since then Furious has managed to advance to the playoffs phase on all occasions, positioning himself as one of the strongest organizations in the region. FG participated in all editions of the CLS and in 2019 will be part of the new league system from united Latin America (LLA).

History

Furious Gaming founded his competitive league of legends division in December 2013, signing all of Lemondogs Argentina' players. His first competitions include participations in tournaments such as Argentina National League 2014, Desafio Geek Lounge, Ozone Masters League 2014 and IEM Season 8 Sao Paulo. During the 2014 season, Furious Gaming participated in all national tournaments organized by Riot Games, looking for a place to represent in the IEM Season 9 San Jose, FG with a great performance achievement to reach the final in Mexico, but fell against the local team Lyon Gaming by 0:3.

In 2015, with the formation of the Copa Latinoamérica Sur (CLS), Furious qualified directly to the tournament, without having to play in the previous qualifiers, thanks to having been one of the best teams in the region during the previous year. In the tournament, Furious passed over all the teams during the regular phase winning 9 games out of 10 possible (9-1 in the Round Robin), in the semifinals, FG beat Bencheados by 3:1, qualifying for the final of the competition. However, Kaos Latin Gamers is the one who is finally crowned champion after defeating the squad of the skull by 3:0. For the closing tournament the team again manages to qualify for the final, this time after winning by 3:2 to Last Kings in the semifinals, however, again Kaos Latin Gamers would be who would win the tournament (this time, by 3:1 in the bo5).

For the year 2016, Furious again begins the Opening tournament dominating the competitive scene, finishing first in the phase of groups (5-4-1 in the series), however, would fall eliminated in a surprising way against Isurus Gaming in a best of five that extended until the fifth game. For the second semester the team has the addition of Helior in his starting line-up, with this, furious finishes the regular phase of the 2016 CLS Closing Cup located in third position, qualifying to semifinals, where he would be eliminated 1:3 by a Kaos Latin Gamers led by the Brazilian duo Element and TheFoxz. Some time later, the team makes it to the final of the 2017 CLS Pre-Season, losing by 2:3 versus Isurus Gaming.

At the beginning of the 2017 season, Juliostito arrives at the team to replace Gonto's departure to the riot games offices, with this, Furious Gaming participates in the 2017 CLS Opening Cup finishing in third position in the regular phase (4-4-2 in series). Due to the gauntlet style executed by the playoffs, FG first wins by 3:1 to Rebirth eSports in round 1, and then by 3:0 to Last Kings in semifinals, qualifying for the third time in the history of CLS to a final. On April 8, in a live final played at the Teatro del Lago, Frutillar (Chile), Furious gaming is defeated by 0:3 against Isurus Gaming. for the 2017 CLS Closing Cup the team would make its way to the semifinals of the tournament where again Isurus Gaming would get in the way of the skulls. This time, with a 2:3 in a reverse sweep series, furious closes its competitive year without having won any title.

In 2018, Furious would have a hard-fought participation in the regular phase of the 2018 CLS Opening Cup, finishing in fourth place with 11 wins out of 10 defeats. In quarterfinals, furious wins by the score of 3:2 to Hafnet eSports, however in semifinals falls eliminated by Rebirth eSports with a score of 1:3. For the 2018 CLS Closing Cup, FG reach the semifinals again, this time losing by 0:3 against Kaos Latin Gamers. In October 2018, LoL Esports LAS officially announced that Furious would continue to be part of the maximum category of Latin America, obtaining a place for the Liga Latinoaméricana 2019.
