Remigiusz "Overpow" Pusch is the mid laner for Illuminar Honor Gaming.

Biography

Overpow is a professional League of Legends player coming from Poznań, Poland. He first played Heroes of Might and Magic III with his brother, before he moved to Counter Strike. After years of playing the first-person shooter (CS 1.3, 1.5, 1.6 and CS:Source), he decided to try his hand at WarCraft III. Due to his skill at the game, Overpow prioritized custom-made maps over WC3, and that led him to playing Defense of the Ancients.

Overpow's foray into DOTA saw him emerge as one of the best players in Poland, and he participated in the 2009 Gamescom tournament. His success followed him to Heroes of Newerth, as he triumped alongside Akke and LodA in team Online-Kingdom, in multiple tournaments, DreamHack among them. However, HoN's publisher's support for the eSport scene waned, and he found himself looking for another game.

Around the Xin Zhao patch, someone from the Polish DotA community he was part of suggested the community try League of Legends. A fast level-up to 30 later, Overpow found himself captivated by the soloqueue environment, and he has been a staple of the European competitive scene ever since.

Season 2

Overpow started his League of Legends career at Time-Out, although he spent less than a month there before moving on to Team Acer Poland. With his new team, he was not given a chance at playing in a major tournament, spending time as a sub for the team. He left just 2 months after joining, but rejoined soon after. Within 2 weeks of rejoining, the team disbanded, leaving Overpow teamless.

At this point, Overpow decided to join Kiedyś Miałem Team, though the roster of the team was picked up by EloHell soon after. With this team, Overpow was given his first chance to play in a major tournament, IEM Singapore, though they did not make it to the knockout phase.

The roster left the organization just a month later, in order to rejoin Kiedyś Miałem Team. Just a week later, the team's roster was picked up by Anexis eSports.

Season 3

At the start of his time with Anexis, Overpower switched roles and became the team's jungler. With Overpow in the jungle, the team came 2nd at IEM Sao Paolo and made it to the quarterfinals of the IEM World Championship. Soon after this, Overpow moved back to the midlane.

The team went on to place 1st at the Summer Promotion Qualifiers, granting them a spot in the Summer Promotion. Anexis were knocked out in the first round by Samurai in Jeans.

It was at this time that Overpow signed as a substitute for MeetYourMakers. Anexis' roster decided to leave the organization and reform Kiedyś Miałem Team yet again. Just 2 days later, the roster decided to join Team Infused. With the organization, they won the CyberGamer SteelSeries Challenge before leaving to return to KMT once again.

A 2nd place finish for Overpow and the team at the Gamescom Spring Promotion Qualifier behind Copenhagen Wolves resulted in the roster leaving for H2k-Gaming, in time to win DreamHack Bucharest 2013, beating the Copenhagen Wolves in the final. With H2k, the team also managed to qualify for the Spring Promotion via the 1st WellPlayed Qualifier. The roster was then picked up by GF-Gaming, but was released just a week later. The team decided to reform once more as KMT, and went on to come 2nd at DreamHack Winter 2013. Overpow and the team participated in the Spring Promotion using the spot they had earned with with H2k. The team finished 3rd in their group, and went on to win their promotion matchup against Ninjas in Pyjamas.

2014 Season

Now with a spot in the upcoming Spring Split, Overpow and the rest of the roster were signed by Team ROCCAT.

The team's first split in the LCS was a huge success. Impressive early split performances (in particular his game on  Kayle against Alex Ich of Gambit Gaming) announced Overpow to the LCS scene and earned him the weekly MVP award for Week 2. ROCCAT spent 3 weeks at the top of the standings table mid-split, but results tailed off slightly towards the end of the split. The team ended up finishing 4th behind Alliance, securing themselves a spot in the Spring Playoffs.

ROCCAT performed well in the Spring Playoffs, but lost to SK Gaming in the semifinals. The team went on to finish in 3rd place after beating Alliance in the 3rd place match.

The Summer Split was a struggle for ROCCAT, with the team not once making it out of the bottom 3 of the standings table. A frustrating few weeks at the start of the split were followed by an overall improvement in the team's performances. Overpow picked up another weekly MVP award during this period, specifically for another impressive game on  Kayle, this time against Froggen of Alliance. Despite their struggles, ROCCAT placed 6th overall, clinching a place at the Summer Playoffs.

The playoffs saw the team raise their game considerably. A quarterfinal win over SUPA HOT CREW resulted in a semifinal matchup against Fnatic. The series was unexpectedly tight, with ROCCAT coming close but eventually losing 3-2 and missing out on qualification for the World Championship. A 3rd place match loss against SK Gaming meant that ROCCAT finished 4th overall.

2015 Season

Overpow announced that he would be switching roles for the new season, becoming ROCCAT's top laner.

Due to Fnatic being unable to attend IEM Cologne, Overpow and the team took their place at the tournament with Ryu filling in as a temporary substitute player for the mid lane. The team were knocked out in the semifinals, losing to Counter Logic Gaming.

Overpow and the team had an unsuccessful LCS Spring Split, finishing the regular season in 8th place, which meant that they would play in the Summer Promotion. Here, the team faced Copenhagen Wolves Academy and came out victorious, securing their spot in the Summer Split. Overpow then left the starting roster of Team ROCCAT.
