Yoon "Homme" Sung-young is a South Korean player who is currently a coach for Vici Gaming.

Biography

Season 2

Yoon "Homme" Sung-young joined MVP White as a top laner in May of 2012 when it was created.

Season 3

White qualified for OLYMPUS Champions Winter 2012-2013 where they made it to the quarterfinals but lost 3-0 to NaJin Sword. They renamed to MVP Ozone in February of 2013. Ozone competed at GIGABYTE StarsWar League Season 2 but they failed to make it out of groups. At OLYMPUS Champions Spring 2013, Ozone qualified for the finals and upset CJ Entus Blaze 3-0 in one of the largest upset in League of Legends history. Ozone also competed in HOT6iX Champions Summer 2013 but they placed third after a 3-1 loss to SK Telecom T1. Ozone still qualified for the Season 3 World Championship as the second seed through circuit points. MVP Ozone and their sister team MVP Blue were bought out by Samsung to form Samsung Galaxy Ozone and Samsung Galaxy Blue, respectively. Ozone performed extremely poorly at Worlds, failing to make it past the group stage after losing a tiebreaker to Gambit Gaming. Homme did not play because Looper was given the starting top lane position.

2014 Season

Homme was not the starting top laner but he still played two games in PANDORA.TV Champions Winter 2013-2014 against NaJin White Shield. ozone ended the tournament in the finals after a 3-0 loss to SKT K. Homme did not play any games for the rest of 2014. He stayed on the team as a sub and coach for the rest of the year. Ozone competed at HOT6iX Champions Spring 2014 and placed third after losing 3-1 to Samsung Blue but beating CJ Blaze 3-2. Ozone renamed to Samsung Galaxy White soon after. White placed third again in HOT6iX Champions Summer 2014 after losing 3-1 to Blue but beating SK Telecom T1 S 3-0. White qualified for the 2014 Season World Championship when they beat SKT K 3-0 in the 2014 Season Korea Regional Finals. White dominated Worlds, capping their finals run with a swift 3-1 victory over Star Horn Royal Club.

2015 Season

On November 17th, 2014, it was officially announced, that all remaining members of Samsung White and Samsung Blue left their teams.[1] Having been helping the Samsung teams as a coach in the previous season, Homme joined several Korean players after the move to allowing only one team per organization in moving to China; he became a coach for Vici Gaming.[2] They competed in the 2015 Demacia Cup Spring Season first and fell in the round of 16 with a 3-0 loss to Invictus Gaming. They ended in fourth in 2015 LPL Spring Regular Season but lost in the first round of the 2015 LPL Spring Playoffs, dropping 3-1 to IG. Vici played in the 2015 Demacia Cup Summer Season, making it to the quarterfinals but forfeiting their series against IG. During the 2015 LPL Summer Regular Season, they ended in sixth in the LPL and made it to the quarterfinals of the 2015 LPL Summer Playoffs but Vici lost 3-2 here to IG.

  • Won a Starcraft tournament at the age of 15.
  • Former Samsung Ozone teammate Imp and Homme have a 10 year age difference. When Homme was still on the team, according to their teammates, the two of them had the most fans, especially fan-girls, in the team.
